![]() December 20, 2001 Mr. Peter Urs Bender 108-150 Palmdale Drive Toronto, Ontario M1T 3M7 Dear Peter; On behalf of the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick it is with great pleasure that I write you this letter of appreciation. From the numerous conference evaluations we have received from our memebers, it is clear the 2001 gathering (October 26-27th) in Fredricton, New Brunswick was a HUGE SUCCESS! For many of our association members, one of the highlights of the conference was certainly having the opportunity to attend your Keynote presentation on "Secrets of Power Marketing". From past experience, it has always been a bit of a challenge to get good ttendance at the 8:30 am Saturday session -- but not this year! Thank you for suggesting we add you into our Welcome Delegates Luncheon program to give our delegates a taste of what they would receive from your Saturday AM presentation. It worked! We had record attendance at our Saturday Professional Development Series, much thanks to you. It was truly rewarding for me to witness the positive energy amongst our delegates following your presentation. As a bonus we were fortunate to have a sponsor so everyone could depart with a copy of your book. This added that special touch, as well as giving our members a very practical tool for future reference. Peter, something that occurred during this conference. Even with the uncertainty in the air for the tourism industry the atmostphere at our annual conference could not have been more positive. I think your presence played an important role in this. You had left quite an impression on me when I first heard you speak at the Vancouver Board of Trade meeting in Vancouver, B.C. in May of 99 and I knew our members here in N.B. would be equally impressed. Peter, thank you for your patience in the coordination of this event. It was a real pleasure to work with you and George. I do hope the opportunity presents itself again. Please feel free to offer TIANB as a reference for any potential speaking engagements. Sincerest regards, ![]() Coordinator Special Projects Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick ![]() |
