The Speech Versus the
Presentation

The speech is your message in its most basic form. It contains
your ideas and the words you use to express them. However,
the presentation conveys your message in multi-media form,
utilizing your voice, body language, visual aids and various
other techniques to involve your audience. It is the total image
you convey to your audience. Just as a chain is only as strong
as its weakest link, your presentation requires preparation
and skilled delivery.

The Five Quintessential Elements of a Power
Presentation

I. The Speech
II. Body Language
III. Equipment
IV. The Environment
V. Preparation
