Improve Your Vocal Cords

  • Practice deep breathing through your nose
    into your diaphragm. Your stomach should
    rise as you fill up with air. Think of making
    yourself fat!

  • Slow down your rate of speech. The slower
    you speak, the deeper your voice will sound.

  • Breathe deeply as you go to sleep, drive
    your car or wait in the board room.

  • Repeat the following aloud several times,
    clearly pronouncing each syllable: "Lah,
    Lee, Lie, Low, Lu". Repeat, lowering your
    voice each time (But do not do this in the
    board room!)
