Christine Magee is the 38-year-old President and co-founder of Sleep Country Canada. Since 1995, the company has opened 50 stores. it was selected one of the Top 50 Best Managed Companies (1997) and Retailer of the Year (B.C. Furniture Association, 1996). Christine, herself, was nominated for the 1998 Entrpreneur of the Year (The Financial Post) and selected one of Canada's "Top 40 Under 40" (1997). Strongly committed to community service, the company founded the Donated Bed and Give A Kid A Coat programs and supports many community organizations. Prior to establishing Sleep Country, Ms Magee was in Banking for 12 years.

Ellen Roseman is the Business Editor of The Toronto Star, managing a team of more than 25 reporters, columnists, editors and researchers. Before joining The Star in 1997, she spent 21 years at The Globe And Mail as a columnist/reporter on consumer affairs, personal finance and mutual funds. In her last two years, she was Associate Managing Editor of the Report on Business. Ms Roseman is the author of four books: Ellen Roseman's Money Guide for Modern Families; Canadian Parents' Sourcebook, with Colleen Darragh; Canadian Consumers' Survival Book, with Phil Edmonston; and Consumer, Beware!

Frank C. Buckley has been President of W.K. Buckley Ltd. (makers of "Buckley's Mixture") since 1978. He has worked in the family business since WWII, where he was a fighter pilot in the South Pacific. A strong entrepreneur with a social conscience, Mr. Buckley has been Chairmain and President of the Propriety Assocation of Canada (now the Non-Prescription Drug Manufacturers' Association); one of the founders of Global Television and CJRT-FM; Chairman of Metro Planning Board; President of the Metro Social Planning Council; and founding Director and current Chairman of the Council on Drug Abuse (CODA).

Hazel McCallion is the outspoken and immensely popular, 20-year-Mayor of the City of Mississauga. After 19 years in the corporate world, Ms McCallion devoted her career to politics in 1967. A pioneer in public life, she was the first woman mayor of Streetsville and Mississauga. Her city is debt-free and has not borrowed money since 1978. She established the GTA Mayors' Committee (bringing together over 30 local Mayors); has served as the vice-president of the World Conference of Mayors; and was chosen one of the "Women of the Year" in Who's Who of American Women.

Mark Cullen is one of Canada's best-known gardeners and President of Weall and Cullen Garden Centres (plant growers, wholesalers and retailers). Mark's gardening message reaches over three million Canadian's weekly, as host of The Garden Show (national radio), Right in Your Own Backyard (home and Garden TV), and on Canada AM (CTV). Mr. Cullen has written six highly popular books, including A Greener Thumb, Canada's all-time bestselling gardening book, and a weekly column for Toronto's Sunday Sun. He is active in the community with SHARE Agricultural Foundation, "Canada Blooms" garden show, and the Composting Council of Canada.

Dini Petty is a celebrity, entrepreneur, daredevil and freespirit. Starting her broadcasting career as CKEY's pink-helicopter pilot and traffic reporter, she moved to Citytv where she did everything from weather to restaurant reviews to co-anchoring the news. As host of "Cityline", her show and interviewing skills received international rewards. Now the host of CTV's "the dini petty show", she has conducted more than 7,500 interviews with some of the world's most famous people. Also an accomplished skydirver (over 55 jumps), Dini Petty is a bright, funny and down-to-earth celebrity--who brings out the best in everyone.

Hugh Heron is the President of Heron Homes Corporation and Principal/Partner in the Heron Group of Companies. His companies have conceived, devleoped and build several award winning residential communities, as well as many top industrial and commrecial centres such as The Consilium in Scarborough. Long active in the betterment of the housing/development industries, Mr. Heron is a member of the Hall of Fame of the Toronto Home Builders' Association, and past President of the Ontario Home Builders' Association. He is currently Chairman of the Ontario New Home Warranty Program and an advisor to the Red Tape Commission.
