![]() January 14, 2002 Peter Urs Bender 108-150 Palmdale Drive Toronto, Ontario M1T 3M7 Dear Peter, The first time you told me about your new book "Gutfeeling" I nearly fell of my bike! Maybe I'm working out too hard at the Fitness Institute, I thought. But after thinking about it, I have to agree with you. All good business decisions have to be based on logic and reason. But there is another factor. Intuition ---- what you call "gut feeling". At W.K. Buckley Limited, we are no different. Our Management Committee looks at new opportunities, analyzes them, and reflects on them. Then we vote. Reflecting on the analyses is one of the most important part of the process. It gives us time to have sober second thoughts, and to listen to our inner feelings. Browsing through your new book, I must say you have some good simple advice on how to increase one's ability to listen to one's 'gut feelings'. Peter, I wish you all the best with your new book and look forward to biking with you soon again! Sincerely, ![]() Frank C. Buckley Chairman, W.K. Buckley limited ![]() |
